What To Do When You Have A Flat Tire
When you find yourself with a flat tire, maneuver your car safely to the side of the road. If safe to exit your vehicle, you may examine your tire. Otherwise, remain in your vehicle or far off the side of the road as you call 800-AAA-HELP (800-222-4357)
Our Flat Tire Services
When you place your service call to AAA, we’ll send a nearby service truck out to your location. Your AAA road service driver can inflate and install your spare as a temporary solution. If you have locking lug nuts, we’ll need you to supply the key.
You can also choose to have your tire repaired or “plugged” for a small fee. Note that a tire plug is not a permanent repair, but a temporary solution to help get you to an auto repair shop closer to your home.
What To Do When You Don’t Have A Spare Tire
In the case that you don’t have a spare tire and your tire cannot be repaired or plugged, AAA can instead send one of our tow trucks to your location. We’ll bring your vehicle to a nearby auto repair shop.
